JUNGLE E MAREE

Has been produced in Italy by songwriter-vocalist Giovanna Gattuso. JUNGLE E MAREE, 50 minutes of Mediterranean-Jazzed flavored music, melodies and arrangements, tainted by the sounds of the Brazilian guitar of ROBERTO TAUFIC and by vigorous and passionate Argentinean cello player, JORGE ANDRES BOSSO. GIOVANNA GATTUSO's elegant voice combines classical lyrics with virtuous Jazz improvisations. In her first ten track album, lyricist/ composer/arranger GIOVANNA GATTUSO, has integrated Italian and English lyrics with her exquisite music.

"The scent of your sea has touched me.. as well as the sound of your music. A work of maturity, where your songs' beauty is undivided by your beautiful voice, surrounded by highly capable musicians.
What else do you expect from a CD? Congratulations"

Giorgio Gaslini

"Giovanna is a multitalented singer, she has a beautiful operatic voice, and she can sing lighter music with equal aplomb.
It is rare to find an opera singer who has a feeling for jazz: Giovanna is one of those singers²
